About us

Bonzer is a specialised SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) agency, passionate about helping businesses strengthen their online presence and visibility across Google and AI search platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. That’s why we focus on crafting strong, organic strategies and SEO results tailored to our clients’ needs, goals and ambitions.

At Bonzer, we support our clients’ overall business and marketing strategy through in-depth analyses, strategic roadmaps and effective SEO sprints. We value close, honest and transparent relationships, both externally with our clients and internally with each other.

The role

As our new Junior Content Specialist, you will be part of a team where your primary responsibility is to produce different types of high-quality content for Bonzer's clients - content built to rank at the top of Google and to be visible in AI search platforms and language models.

Search is changing rapidly. More and more people find answers, products and brands through AI models – and being visible in those answers is becoming essential for companies. As a Junior Content Specialist, you will, together with your team, work hands-on with this shift every day, helping our clients grow through organic visibility. The same curiosity that makes you want to understand this shift is exactly what we're looking for when it comes to your own way of working too - we want someone who's naturally drawn to exploring how new AI tools can make their day-to-day sharper. Not because someone tells you to, but because it's genuinely fun for you to figure out what's suddenly possible.

We don't expect you to know everything from day one, but we do expect you to deliver strong content and take ownership of your tasks, quality and deadlines.

  • “At Bonzer, I’m given the freedom to think creatively and deliver meaningful content for some of Norway's largest companies.” – Sverre, Lead Content Specialist

Your responsibilities

  • You will create different types of high-quality content for our clients, such as blog posts, product and category texts, press releases, and graphic and interactive formats. Every piece you create should combine strong craftsmanship with a clear strategic purpose.
  • You will create content that AI models pick up, cite and trust, helping our clients become visible not only on Google but also in the answers AI search platforms give.
  • You will support our Digital PR efforts by creating content that builds the authority and mentions that drive AI visibility.
  • You will explore how new AI tools can make your day-to-day work sharper. Not because someone tells you to, but because it's fun to figure out what's suddenly possible.
  • You will own your tasks from start to finish. You'll keep an overview of multiple tasks and deadlines, take responsibility for the quality of your work and contribute to your team's shared goals.

Qualifications

We imagine you're early in your career, but have clear content experience to bring to the table – preferably within content creation, journalism, communication, marketing or similar areas.

Above all, you're a genuinely strong writer. You know how to create texts that are engaging, well-structured and tailored to different audiences and formats – and you take pride in delivering quality every time.

Experience with SEO isn't a requirement, but we want to see a genuine interest in AI search, visibility in AI models and Digital PR. Just as important, you're curious about AI as a tool, not just as a topic.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong ability and willingness to learn. In return, we'll equip you with the SEO and AI search knowledge you need to build a strong career with us. It's important to us that you thrive in a dynamic everyday life where no two days are the same. You're organised and structured, and you take responsibility for your own performance.

We're proud of our employees and the culture we create together. That's why we're looking for new colleagues who thrive in a collaborative environment, value community and share our values, so that together we can strengthen each other and the company. We value your character, craftsmanship and teamwork above all.

Language requirements: You must speak and write fluent Norwegian and English, and be a resident of Norway, as the role is based at our Oslo office. Excellent Norwegian skills are essential for creating content for our Norwegian clients, and English is our primary working language across markets.

Benefits of the job

  • Gain valuable insight and experience in SEO and the latest developments in AI-driven search
  • Take on responsibility and independent tasks that contribute to your professional and personal development

Privacy notice for job applicants

Read the privacy notice

This notice explains how Bonzer processes your personal data when you apply for a job, send an open application, or join our talent pool.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the Bonzer company that is hiring for the position — the company in the country where the job is based:

  • Denmark: Bonzer ApS, CVR 38848267, Farvergade 2-4, 1463 København K
  • Sweden: Bonzer AB, org.nr 559293-5919, Gamla Brogatan 32, Stockholm
  • Norway: Bonzer AS, org.nr 927 399 059, Stortorvet 7 (c/o Spaces), 0155 Oslo

An open application is handled by the company for the market whose website you applied on (Bonzer ApS for bonzer.io), and passed to the company that hires if a relevant position opens. Questions about your data: [email protected]. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to; our data protection contact can be reached at the same address.

What we process

  • Data you give us: name, email, phone, location, LinkedIn profile, CV, cover letter, other attachments and your answers to the application questions.
  • Data from the process: our notes, interview evaluations and ratings, and the emails we exchange with you.
  • Data from others: references — only people you have given us, and only with your agreement. If we find you ourselves (e.g. on LinkedIn), we save your name, contact details and public professional profile and tell you within 30 days.

Please don't send sensitive information (e.g. health, religion, trade-union membership, sexual orientation) or national identity numbers — we don't need them to assess your application.

Why we process it and our legal basis

  • To assess your application and run the recruitment process — steps taken at your request before an employment contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in finding the right person for the role (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Talent pool — only with your separate, explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawal doesn't affect processing before it.
  • Legal claims — if needed, to establish or defend a legal claim, e.g. a discrimination complaint (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Giving us your data is voluntary, and you are not legally or contractually required to. But we can't consider your application without the information marked as required.

We don't use automated decision-making or profiling. People read and decide on every application.

Who has access

Only the people involved in the recruitment: the hiring manager and interviewers for the role, recruitment/HR and management — including colleagues in other Bonzer companies in Denmark, Sweden and Norway where the recruitment is shared.

Our suppliers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements: Vercel (website and app hosting), Neon (database, EU – Frankfurt), Cloudflare (file storage, EU) and Resend (email). Some of these are US companies; where data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

  • Not hired: we delete your application and all related data 6 months after the recruitment process ends, so we can answer questions and handle any legal claims.
  • Talent pool: 24 months from your consent. We ask you before it expires whether you want to stay; if you don't renew, we delete your data.
  • Hired: the relevant data moves to your personnel file and is covered by our employee privacy notice.
  • If a legal claim is raised, we keep the relevant data until it is resolved.
  • Deleted data disappears from our encrypted backups within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can see, download or delete your data yourself using the link in our emails, or write to [email protected].

You can complain to the data protection authority in the country of the company that is hiring: Datatilsynet in Denmark (www.datatilsynet.dk), Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) in Sweden (www.imy.se) or Datatilsynet in Norway (www.datatilsynet.no) — or to the authority where you live or work.
